Who We Are
Construction Inspection Service has supported commercial banks with construction lending–related services for over 40 years. We specialize in providing objective inspection and consulting services that help lenders manage risk, monitor construction progress, and make informed funding decisions throughout the life of a construction loan.
One hundred percent (100%) of our total business is dedicated to the banking industry. Our staff’s background in both the banking and construction industries, coupled with our extensive training and education, brings to you the knowledge and experience required for your consulting and inspection needs.
Each month Construction Inspection Service provides inspections on commercial projects with a total combined completed value of over $500,000,000. The commercial projects we inspect range from a low of $250,000 to a high of $70,000,000.
We are licensed by the State of Mississippi under the State Inspection Licensing Board and fully insured with general liability and E&O coverage. We are also certified under the International Building Code Council. Certificates of insurance coverage and licensing are available upon request.
What We Do
We provide comprehensive construction inspection and consulting services for both commercial and residential projects of nearly any size and complexity. Our services include draw inspections that validate completed work and stored materials through detailed reporting with photo documentation, draw request review, payment recommendations, change order tracking, and stored materials monitoring.
In addition to draw inspections, we perform pre-construction reviews with detailed cost analysis to help lenders evaluate project feasibility before funding begins. Our reviews assess construction costs against industry standards and comparable projects, along with plans, schedules, contracts, approvals, licensing, insurance, and utility availability.
We also offer educational construction lending workshops and seminars, providing practical guidance on loan monitoring, inspection processes, and real-world scenarios. Our team is experienced in working within construction loan management platforms, including Abrigo and Built, and can easily tailor our services to align with a bank’s internal processes and reporting requirements.
